Piles of Miles Endurance Challenge begins at 6:00pm on Friday, May 29.
Each participant must have a Strava account and join the NS Promos strava club.
Every 3 hours or less, participants will stop their tracking device and sync/upload to Strava. In addition, each participant will add their total miles for those hours to a shared google sheet.
Once your registration is received, you will be added to the google sheet. Please familiarize yourself with this sheet and ask questions well in advance.
A private FB group has been created and you will be added to it once you register. This group is for encouragement and communication during the challenge.
- Running, walking inside or outside is allowed.
- Treadmill miles count.
- Elliptical miles DO NOT count.
- Others may run/walk with you.
- Take pics and post in the FB group so we can share on social media.
- You are responsible for your safety. Be mindful of the weather and your surroundings.
We are looking forward to the challenge and hope you are ready to push your limits! This is strictly for fun and no prizes will be given for the most miles run. Be ready to challenge yourself, be smart, and plan wisely.
Each participant receives a race t-shirt.
Race proceeds will benefit Backpack Buddies of Myrtle Beach.
