Event Description

Typically the annual Lake Health Hill Yeah! Half Marathon is set on a scenic, winding course route through the Lake Metroparks Farmpark, Chapin Forest, and Penitentiary Glen Reservation, all the while running the surrounding roads that will test the best in you. The race would start and finish at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland, Ohio.

BUT.... not this year.  We have been forced to provide this event as a Virtual event. What we are asking you is if you're local to Lake County, try and make it out to Chapin Forest and/or Penitentiary Glen to run the original course the best you can.  If you are not local to Local County Ohio, get out and find a hilly area in your area and run the miles.  This event is never about your finish time, but about finishing the hilly course!

All participants receive a custom race bib, shirt and finisher medal.  Please try and run between June 5 and June 14.

How Does This Virtual "Race" Work?

1 - Register

Sign up for the race you want to participate in, here on the RunSignup registration page.

2 - SWAG

You will receive an email before the start of the virtual event letting you know when the SWAG (Stuff We All Get) will be mailed to you, or if you are local to our company (Lake County, Ohio) when you can pick it up.

3 - Run

The next step is to run the race you signed up for between the dates that are specified in the instructions or on the web site.  Since this is a "Virtual" event, you can run wherever and whenever you want.  Unless there are explicit instructions stating otherwise, you can run the distance all at once, or break it into multiple runs on different days.  Remember, Virtual = Flexible.

4 - Results

After completing your "Race", please post your results to this web site, using the Results link at the top of the page.  There are no awards for our virtual races, as everything is on the honor system when posting race results.

5 - Upload Pictures to Social Media

After completing your race and posting your results, feel free to post to our Facebook page a picture of yourself with your bib on, your running partners, your gps watch, etc. https://www.facebook.com/GCXCRACETIMING/ and Instagram account @greaterclevelandxc.
