Bikes For Kids Metric Century

The Bikes For Kids (LYRMC) Charity Bike ride rolls out of Lewisville, NC. It flows across the rolling hills Yadkin & Surry Counties and crosses the Yadkin River 4 times. This annual event rasies money for the Piedmont Flyers Bike For Kids Christmas program.

Each year, through the Bikes for Kids program, the Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club purchases new bikes from local bike shops, which are then donated to children in our community.

Funding for the Bikes for Kids program is provided through membership dues, registration fees for the Bikes For Kids Metric Century, and donations.

The more money we raise, the more bikes we can give to kids at the end of the year! Thank you so much for your generosity.

Event details and schedule

7:30am Registration

8:30am Roll Out

Day-of registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Rides are rain or shine. No refunds. All rides begin at 8:30 a.m.

The fee is $30 per person. You must sign in and complete a waiver to ride. Cash and checks only the day of the event. Riders must be 18+. Helmets are REQUIRED, daytime visible lights are highly recommented.
