Event Description

ARK's Dawgy Dash 2020 5K is going virtual!  In these uncertain times, ARK is taking a different approach to the Dawgy Dash this year.  We will race in spirit together, but safely apart (or with a small group).  You can run the 5K in your own neighborhood or on our official course, any time during race week, and submit your results online for all to see. Run competitively, with or without your dog, or enjoy a more leisurely outing.  Registration is FREE! We don't want anyone to be excluded because of economic uncertainty.  Of course, we love donations, since this is our main fundraiser of the year, but anyone can take part.  (If conditions permit, we may offer our traditional 5K, with the option to complete a virtual race if you prefer.)

Register today!  Remember - it's FREE.  Set up your own 5K course, or use the official ARK course. 

Run your course any time during race week and submit your time right here on our race website.  Post pictures after your race on social media #dawgydash20, wearing your awesome custom bib. Don't forget to include some darling dog pics.  For a $25 donation, you can get one of our snazzy t-shirts to proudly wear as you compete.  We'll have a leader board of race times posted on the race website.  

Any funds raised by the virtual race will be used for ARK's work in the community: our pet foster/adoption program, spay-neuter promotions, and the shelter fund.  We are thrilled about the new holding facility/future shelter in Hart County.  Any support you can provide is truly appreciated, so we can continue helping animals.
