Event Description

As we wrap up our school year, I know we have a group of athletes who are extremely disappointed in their lost season. Athletics provide a sense of unity, teamwork, community, and exercise that is hard to find anywhere else. The CESJDS athletes pride themselves in being representatives of the wider Jewish community out on the field, the track, or the court. 

The goal of this event is to help motivate the entire CESJDS community to stay active throughout the summer and into next year. Athletics has always been a big part of bringing the CESJDS community together and while we can't be together during these times, this is a great opportunity to virtually come together for a common goal. 

We designed a virtual run/walk to help improve our mental and physical health. Getting outside and having friendly competition is a great way to further promote all of the values that our athletes are so proud of. Our virtual 1 mile/5k Run/Walk will take place on June 10th, 11th, and 12th. On those days, you can run and record your run/walk All we ask is that you take a picture of yourself and share it on social media to engage our wider community.
