Event Description

The Super Hero 5K/1K Walk-Run is designed to be a family fun event and everyone is encouraged to become a super hero for the day by wearing their favorite super hero costume as we recognize our beloved Breast Cancer Heroes. A post race party will follow the 1K event, with food and plenty of fun for big and little super heroes. The race will also feature a costume contest along with an awards ceremony and NFL guests.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Run, walk, volunteer, or invite your friends to support Breast Cancer Awareness month and be a superhero!The Tackles4Cancer Superhero Run is designed is a family fun event and we encourage everyone to become a superhero for the day by wearing their favorite superhero costume to the run. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients through transportation so that we may continue our work as heroes for the underserved community in Houston.

A post-race party will follow the 5K and 1K events, with food and plenty of fun for all big and little Superheroes. Race and costume contest awards ceremony to follow the 1K event.
