Event Description

Oooo, Shiny!!!

Welcome to the first Geek'd Out race event of 2017. This event will take you to space where they cannot take the skies from you. The event page is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1133008630149416/. The event benefits premies and thier moms with the Badges for Fallen Officers Foundation.

Your virtual run will involve 15 Miles done at your own pace and time. Why 15? Because there were 14 Firefly episodes and a movie... So as you run each Mile you can also be sure to watch an episode of Firefly. This event also will include a new element akin to what happens at the end of every Lets Make a Deal episode! We will tweet/facebook/instagram a clue to something from Firefly. Everyone who posts and guesses correctly by sharing thier guess as a comment or image with #GeeksforGood and #RacetoMisbehave will be entered in to win some great Firefly swag! This gets funner when everyone shares their stories and encourages others so please feel free to get as engaged in the event as you'd like.

You'll also find yourself probably watching the episodes that correlate with each hunt as well. You're welcome.

Event details and schedule

The Event opens on now!  You'll have till the end of March to finish your distance. But even if you do not finish, we will be sending all registrants the epic medal by mid April (or earlier if the medal company can manage it).
