Event Description
Every April, YWCA Princeton holds our Stand Against Racism workshop series and rally. Every June, we hold our annual 5k. This year, both of those have been cancelled due to COVID-19. This year we want to highlight the year-round work do to Stand Against Racism with our first Virtual Run/Walk.
Distance: You choose. 1k, 5k, more? Set a challenge for yourself!
Fundraising: We ask that each participant set a goal of raising $100 from friends and family.
Day/ Time: Walking/ Running can be any time from Monday July 27th - Monday August 10th
Kick Off Event: Monday July 27th - Will be virtual. Registrants will receive a link.
Awards Event announcing top fundraisers: Tuesday August 11th - Will be virtual. Registrants will receive a link.
Runners will receive a t-shirt in the mail!
We recommend being mindful of temperature and choosing to walk in the morning or evening when the temperature is cooler. Please talk to your doctor before beginning any new exercise regime.
