Event Description

Join us October 4, 2020 for our second annual 5K Walk/Run with this year's theme - a zombie crawl! This event supports the Center Ice Foundation, a group raising money to build an ice rink in Pickerington, Ohio.

The Center Ice Foundation of Central Ohio is a non profit 501c3 Foundation dedicated to expanding access to ice-related recreational activities to east and southeast side of Columbus through the construction of an ice rink in Pickerington, Ohio.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held at the Columbus Running Company Pickerington location on Friday, Oct. 2, from 10a - 8p, and Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10a - 5p.

Race Day Timeline

8:30a - 9:30a - Race Day Check-in/Registration
9:30a - 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Family Walk Begin
~ 10:30a - Awards

Other Notes:
The race will take place starting from and finishing at Pickerington Central High School. Parking will be available at the school.
Post-race food and beverages will be available to refuel and hydrate you.
Jogging strollers are allowed.  In-line skates, skateboards, bikes, and pets are not permitted. 
On site registration will be available from 8:30-9:30am. 

This event will be held rain or shine except in the case of severe weather (i.e. thunder, severe snow storm, hail, ice) or in the case of COVID-19 restrictions still being in effect for mass gatherings (see "Special Announcement" section above).  The safety of our participants is our utmost priority: in the event of cancellation or moving the event to virtual, all registered participants will be emailed.  Also check our Facebook pages for notifications.  No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In this event, your registration would be utilized as 100% donation.
