Event Description

Okay People! Have you ever heard of Hoodie-Hoo Day?  It’s celebrated on February 20th.

On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant “Hoodie-Hoo”.

It is a day to chase away winter blahs, and bring in spring.  People are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.

We are celebrating this year with a Hoodie Hoo 5K!  When you complete your race be sure to wave your hands and chant “Hoodie-Hoo” to help us chase away winter!

The last week of February is also Eating Disorders Awareness and Screening Week and we will be donating a portion of each registration to the National Eating Disorders Association,  the leading non-profit organization in the United States advocating on behalf of and supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

hoodie-hooWhat:  This is a virtual 5K.  You complete your race on your own and submit your time to us.  Then we ship your medal directly to you.

When: Complete your race any time during the month of February and be sure to wave your hands, chant “Hoodie-Hoo” and chase those winter blues away!

*Medals will beginning shipping out mid-January.

Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why:  To chase away winter!
