A Virtual 5K to support VBHS Cheerleaders.  All participants receive a medal and a shirt.

The Vero Beach High School Varsity Cheerleaders not only bring cheer to the Friday night lights at VBHS, but also to the community. You can find our athletes participating in community events, at the annual Vero Beach Christmas Parade, the annual Martin Luther King Day Parade, and more! These athletes are not only beautiful, they are smart, strong, kind, and ambitious!

The VBHS Varsity Cheerleaders generally hold several fundraisers over the summer to fund their upcoming cheer season. These fundraisers include bucket drops, annual garage sale, and the most widely known - Youth Cheer Camp, where children in the community 6 and over can sign up to spend a whole week (days only) with the Varsity Cheerleaders and learn what it’s like to be a high school cheerleader. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, they have not been able to hold any of these traditional fundraisers.

The summer fundraisers generally make enough money to fund the entire cheer season. Funds are used for buses to get to and from away football games, uniform purchases and repairs, UCA camp (in Tampa this year) where the girls enjoy a weekend of skill building, team building, stunting, and comradery that they will use all season long. Expenses for UCA camp include, but are not limited to, hotel stay, camp tuition, food, buses to and from, and etc. I hope this information is helpful to you in your decision to support the VBHS Varsity Cheerleaders and their upcoming 5K.
