Event Description

For this 5K Walk/Run, your registration will go to local Hospitals in the Northeast who have established COVID-19 funds designated to help the Essential Workers impacted by the pandemic. The Essential Race is supporting our Essential Workers who have gone through high levels of stress and trauma. From the Nurses who helped their patients say goodbyes to their families over zoom, to the Doctors who pushed themselves to the brink of exhaustion working non-stop, Covid has taken a toll on people emotionally as well as physically.  All proceeds will help restore the mental health and well being of our Essential Workers.This includes CNAs, Nurses, Doctors, and Case Managers alike.  All have gone above and beyond to keep us and our loved ones safe.
