Event Description
"The Dellinger Dash 3K” (one loop around Cartersville's Dellinger Park) has never been contested before like this!! Be one of the first ever to do this race. You know, Peachtree started out with just 110 in its first year. So, just how fast can you make it one time around Dellinger?!

For the little ones, “The Lake Lap” (once around the pond) promises to be fun to do, and to watch!
Both races start and finish at Dellinger Park’s duck pond and benefit area middle school running programs. The Dellinger Dash is exactly one (1) complete loop around the park, including the small hill up to the pool. This is 3K, or just shy of 2 miles. For our younger participants (8 & Under), the ‘Lake Lap’ is one (1) fun lap around Dellinger’s duck pond and is about 1,000 meters, a bit over a half-mile. ALL registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt of this inaugural eventwhich we intend to make an annual event.

- Early Packet Pick-up will be available the day before the race

Miscellaneous:
All runners must complete the attached waiver prior to race start.
Race bibs must be worn on the front of your body and remain unfolded for proper timing and be visible at the finish.
During the race, if Runners/walkers wish to have water, they must carry their own, as there will be no water stations along the route.
Restrooms will be open and available.

Weather: This is a rain or shine event. If the weather conditions are hazardous, Race Management has the right to change, eliminate parts of the course, or delay up to a point. However, if it is deemed too dangerous to race, the event may be postponed to different day. Of course, since we are athletes ourselves, we will do everything in our power to have the event, but your safety is of our utmost concern.
