Event Description

As a local non-profit, we are RUNNING (or walking, biking, skipping) toward healing and wholeness in Christ this September 5-11 for National Suicide Prevention Week. We would LOVE it if you would consider joining us! Not only do we want to raise mental health awareness and break the stigma, but we want to help make it as affordable as possible for everyone to receive the mental health services they need. You can help us do both by joining us as we Shine the Light together!

You can help us raise awareness and funds by:
- Registering for the event
- Sharing the event on your social media pages
- Posting photos of yourself running/walking your 5k and using #shinethelightvc
- Sharing inspiration you find using #shinethelightvc

**At any point during the week of September 5-11, we ask that you track your 5k run/walk/bike/skip journey. You can use one of these free apps to track, and upload it here or email to nicole.smith@valleychristiancounselingcenter.com. Once we receive your results, we'll send your medal!

**Additionally, every participant will be entered to win one of our daily drawings the week of the race! Follow us on our social media if you wish to know what the daily giveaways will be as we will be announcing those soon!
