Courage to Run is on! United in our commitment to being healthy to best serve society, join us for the Virtual Courage to Run 5K & 20in20 Challenge this September.
Now more than ever, we believe that whether you are running a 5K or toward Election Day, it takes an elevated set of skills that strikingly resemble the "inner game" of an elite athlete: a winning mindset, resilience, vision, courage and care. On September 13, join civic believers, candidates, elected officials, govies, advocates, voters and athletes across America as we run together with a simple purpose: 1) celebrate women running for office, 2) be healthy to lead effectively, 3) run courageously and 4) champion democracy.
You have two options: run the virtual 5K or take the 20in20 Challenge (run/walk 20 miles in 20 days), and finish your final 3.1 miles strong with everyone on September 13.
Registration is $20 before August 10 and then goes up to $25.
Registration includes:
- Race medal
- 5-week training plan
- Customizable bib
- Finishers certificate
- Virtual starting line ceremony
- Donation
Donations go to the 30+ diverse organizations that train and champion the next wave of healthy civic leaders that Courage to Run supports. These organizations include, though are not limited to -- IGNITE National, Vote Run Lead, Brown Girls Guide to Politics, Latinas Represent, Vote Mama Foundation, Victory Institute and the Millennial Action Project. They are on the frontlines reimagining leadership training amid the pandemic and need our support.
