Grab 3 of your friends and signup today for our Run 'N Relay Challenge slated for Saturday, August 22nd at 9am at Cohoes High School in Cohoes, NY.

Race Format: 4-person, 8-mile relay.  Each team member will run a 2-mile segment.

The Run 'N Relay Challenge will be presented in adherence to all NYS and CDC guidelines.

About our mission: Despite all that is going on around us, our mission has not changed. As one of our parents pointed out, the challenges that the Covid-19 crisis create for all of us, are very much like those that our Building on Love families have faced since our inception. Pandemic or not, our families must quarantine themselves to keep germs and viruses away from their child. They are employed one week, only to be forced into unemployment the next to be a fulltime caretaker to their extremely sick child. They are not sure how their bills will get paid next month, or how they will fill their car’s gas tank or put food on the table. These emotional and financial stresses cause tremendous uncertainty and fear. While we are not the medicine that will cure their child, we play a vital role in helping our families overcome many of the challenges they are facing. We provide direct financial support to cover three to four months of essential living expenses; helping them maintain their financial footing while they sort out their child’s medical road ahead.
