Event Description

Let your inner hero shine through by becoming a part of Child Enrichment’s Heroes for Hope 5k Run/Walk fundraiser. Heroes for Hope will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 8 AM at Savannah Rapids. This will be a fun, family friendly event where adults and kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite superhero costume and participate in the 5k run/walk, or the Fun Run for younger kids. The event will also feature a costume contest for kids and adults. You can raise money individually or form a superhero squad to raise money with your friends and family or coworkers to build team spirit. 

The first 75 participants will receive a free tshirt! The remaining participants will have the option to purchase a shirt for $10 for sizes S-XL and $12 for sizes 2X-3X.

Race packet pick up day will be on October 30th from 3-7 PM at Fleet Feet Augusta (229 Furys Ferry Rd. in Augusta). Participants will be contacted by email with more details about the packet pick up closer to the pick up day.

Child Enrichment provides free therapy and advocacy services for children and families that have experienced abuse or neglect in the CSRA. Through the help of our community heroes, Child Enrichment has served over 24,000 local children since 1978 and 1,132 kids for the 2018-2019 fiscal year through our Child Advocacy Center and CASA programs.
