Event Description

The fifth annual Columbia & NewYork-Presbyterian Indoor Marathon will now have a virtual option!

For the last four years, The Armory Foundation has successfully grown the Indoor Marathon into one of the premier group races in the entire country. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic poses many challenges, we see this as an opportunity to expand the event into the virtual realm, allowing runners to take part from anywhere in the world. The virtual race will be scored separately from the traditional in-person event, but the basic format remains the same, as teams composed of 2-8 athletes will run a total distance of 26.2 miles. You may run your miles in any location of your choosing, but you must submit your results in GPS file format in order for them to count.
