The Little Comets 5K run/ walk to benefit the St. Louis Catholic School field trip fund.

Children 10 and under are free and do not need to register!!!

** There will be no race day registration or packet pick up **

Event details and schedule

Due to ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic concerns the Little Comets 5K will adhere to the following guidelines;

The race will be conducted in as safe a manner as possible meaning limited crowds before and after event.

Observe social distancing guide lines (6 ft) before and after the event. Participants must wear face coverings over nose and mouth if the 6’ guideline cannot be maintained – not including during the actual race

Masks are not required by participants while running/ walking.

Please observe social distancing while running/ passing another participant.

Race start will be staggered in groups of 5- 10.

There will be no race day registration. Participants must register previous to the race online or send in their form to the school. There will also be no packet pick-up on race day. Items will be sent home or pick-up arranged. A virtual race participation option will also be available on-line.

Individual water bottles will be available after the event but there will not be an awards ceremony. Winners will be announced online. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Please be respectful of participants and race volunteers. We want this to be a fun and successful event for our little school but we need to adhere to guidelines to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Guidelines subject to change based on recommendations from the state and CDC.

Run Local and the SLCS 5k committee have read the CDC Guidelines for Youth Sports and understand will adhere to these guidelines for the safety of all participants.
