Event Description

Another real, in-person, live, and chip-timed race! The Sunday Sizzler at Radar Brewing 5K is the second in Junction 311's series of small "PopUp Races" designed to get us ALL  back to racing. Each PopUp Race will have something to make it special, the venue, distance, scoring, or prizes. Something new and different will "PopUp" for each race. Your check-in location will be Radar Brewing AND you will get a cold beer after a hot race!

This race uses the Long Branch Trail and sidewalks. You MUST stay on the trail and sidewalks. You CANNOT run on the road as there are no road closures or traffic control. The course does not cross any streets, so you do not have to worry about vehicles as long as you stay on the proper course.

Your results will be emailed and/or texted to you immediately. Your actual race placement will be available online later in the day once all participants have completed the course.

Each race will meet or exceed all local, state, and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Currently, no more than 25 runners on-site at any time and at least 6 feet social distancing during any wait times. Runners will have a designated "rolling wave" start window. You will show up, receive your bib, and start within your rolling wave window as soon as you are ready. Once you are done, you will have cold bottled water available and then you can grab a cold beer and then head off for the rest of your day!

Runners are highly recommended to bring their own hydration. Water bottles will be available for finishers.
