Newcastle Days is canceled this year, but we’re hoping you’ll still celebrate with your community that September weekend by participating in the Newcastle Days Virtual 5K Run/Walk benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Save the dates for Sept. 11-13 to participate in this community event wherever you are! Registration comes with a free commemorative T-shirt and all donations will go toward supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. This event is sponsored by the City of Newcastle, Aegis Gardens and Waste Management.

ABOUT THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Every fall, the organization hosts A Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise money to support their critical work. This year, the event is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail. Your health and safety are our top priorities. There won’t be a large in-person gathering — instead, we invite you to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we are all still walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
