Event Description
The 2020 SvDP Run For Thy Neighbor Virtual 5K will be held on Saturday, Septmeber 26, 2020.
WHAT ARE THE FEES TO PARTICIPATE?
Registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Registration fee includes a shirt.
Walkers are free! (Shirt not included)
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
A virtual 5k is a run that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose.
Whether you choose your neighborhood, your treadmill, a track, or a nice trail...it is completely up to you!
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE RUN FOR THY NEIGHBOR 5K?
Participating is easy!
1) Visit our official RACE PAGE and select SIGN UP.
2) Select which race option you would like to participate in. There are options for 5K Run, 5K Run Youth (This is a perfect option for children and youth participating in school running programs), or the 5K Walk option (Shirt Not Included in this Option).
3) Fill out the registration information.
4) Decide if you want to create a team. You can form a Friends and Family Team, a Corporate Team, or even sign up a School Cross Country Team. Team are not necessary but are encouraged!
5) Choose whether you want to donate to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Southwest Texas Council and indicate your donation amount.
6) Check Out!
It's that easy!
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU REGISTER?
Upon completing your registration, you will receive a receipt and you will be assigned a bib number.
You can wait until Saturday, September 26, 2020 to run your custom race or you can complete your race before that day. It's completely up to you!
WHAT DO I DO AFTER I COMPLETE THE RACE?
After you complete your race, visit the RESULTS page on the event website and click the button SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS. You can upload your race time and your time will post to the leader board!
