Kick off this year's Thanksgiving week with the 8th Annual Everbody's Turkey Trot Fun Run. This year's fun run will be slightly different than past years due to the covid pandemic. This year's race will be "virtual" with the option to run or walk a 5k, 10k or 1 mile distance between Nov. 21 and Nov 28th. You pick the distance, route, day and time. By doing the race this way we can maintain social distancing and still allow for the traditional kickoff to the holiday season. It will also allow those who normally participate but aren't able to be in Tell City to still partake in this annual tradition. Once you complete your run, submit proof of time and distance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanksgiving Day, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and starting at Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center, there will be an option to run or walk the traditional Turkey Trot 5k route. What better way to start Thanksgiving Day by pre-burning calories before the day's large meal(s)? Social distancing will be encouraged.
Keep an eye on the Everbody's Turkey Trot Facebook page and race page at everbodys.com for daily challenges between Nov 21st and the 26th. Dress up in your favorite turkey outfit, send us a photo, and you could win a fabulous gift!!
This year there will be no age group awards or medals. Water and sports drinks will be provided throughout the week at Everbody's for those running and walking. All registered participants who complete the fun run will receive a long sleeve hooded shirt. Register by Nov. 15th to have a shirt available for pickup or mailing on or before Thanksgiving Day. Shirts will be held for pick up until December 31, 2020. After the 31st all shirts that haven't been picked up will go on sale to the general public.
As a "Thank You" to our past sponsors we will not be seeking donations this year but we will be listing them on the back of the race shirts and on the sponsors page of RunSignUp.
To compete in this year's Virtual race you will need to register online or in person at Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center.
