Virtual Race --- Register, Run 7k anywhere, and upload your screenshot/selfie/race information tagging on Instagram @as_if_inc 
A race shirt and medal will be mailed to you upon completing the 7k!! Thanks for your support. 100% Proceeds go to As If, Inc. for Sheri's surgery.

8 years ago I was having a hard time adulting, suddenly at 32 becoming a single mom with no income (I had been a stay at home mom), I had to move back into my parent’s house. During that time,  I met women who were on their own and just making it by without the added support of family or friends. They are strong mothers who always put their children’s needs above their own and my natural instinct to help kicked in. Over time I realized these remarkable women needed more than I could give alone so I finally stopped thinking about the non-profit and started it! 

AS IF. was founded on the basis to help, support, and uplift women. Our mission is to actively support independent females who could use a little boost by helping single mothers put themselves first!  It can be as small as getting a pair of running shoes to help them exercise to paying a few month’s rent to get them on track financially, to have a nest. 

It’s the little things in life that move the needle towards making life more manageable and our aim is to make each day a little easier for someone.

As If, Inc.’s first virtual race is going to be a 7k. This is because our first recipient has lost and kept off 100 lbs for 7 years! She demonstrates a tremendous level of mental strength and self-love to continue to work out with the challenges of having excess skin on a daily basis.  Our goal is to assist Sheri with the expense of skin removal surgery with proceeds raised from this race and future events. This procedure will allow her to workout safely with confidence to continue to face life head-on.  She is a leader in the community for so many other strong women and is so deserving of this surgery!  Our goal is $10,000.00 for her surgery.
