With the health and safety of our students, staff, and community being our priority, and after many months of review and consultation with city officials, RCSF board and community partners, as a team, the decision for the Hometown Hustle 5K and Color Fun run/walk to “go virtual” was made.

Your participation as a runner/walker or a sponsor will help fund resources to equip this new way of learning and living and prepare students to be resilient, and help them achieve social and emotional wellness through vigilance, learning and community care!
If you registered earlier this year, no further action is needed. A separate email with specific dates to pick up your package will be sent soon.
All registrants will receive a race package that includes a race medal, bib and a t-shirt, along with sponsor takeaways.
As we celebrate our 15th anniversary of running together as a community, we will make every effort to provide elements of the treasured tradition 'experience' even though we will be unable to gather together in person.
Please join us in our efforts to help keep student learning equitable and ensure all students are properly equipped, prepared and confident to return to school.

What is a virtual race? A virtual race enables participants to run at any location, at their own pace, outside or on a treadmill, alone or with family and friends! 5K runners can submit their time and a chance to win a prize! It supports staying active while running/walking for a great cause, and provides awesome medals and swag and sponsor recognition to nearly 8,000 families in the RCS community!
