Event Description

For nine years, Sax has supported St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ through the 4 Miler at Garret Mountain run/walk event.  Since the event’s inception in 2012, Sax has raised over $535,000 for the hospital’s Child Life Department, providing high-impact holistic therapies to their pediatric patients. 

The Child Life Department does wonders mitigating the negative effects of hospitalization, particularly for pediatric patients with chronic, life-threatening or terminal illness.  These therapies are funded only by outside support, and together, with our event sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers, the 4 Miler has proudly become the largest financial contributor of the Child Life Department.
