Event Description

This race is to celebrate Labor Day. It is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States. Proceeds from this race will go to the Respect Runners Charity to help the needy receive serviceable shoes in the U.S.A. This is an 5K road race only. This race is to celebrate our years of hard work for our families and to continue to build on the traditions of our communities.  

Due to COVID 19, This race is open to only 50 runners in person. This limited amount of runners will give us the opportunity to spread out and social distance. Dilbert Sports is hosting this 5K run virtually and in Junction City, Kansas. This race allows amateur and professional runners to register for an chance to win a Ca$h reward for the first Female and Male 5K finisher. 

Prices for the following races is as follows:

5K Participants registration - $15 (w/o Shirt)

5K Virtual Participants registration - $15 plus $5 shipping fee (w/o Shirt)

1st place finishers for each age group Male & Female will receive a prize (Please go to https://dilbertsports.com for age groups).
• NO Team Attendance trophy for the group with the largest number of registered participants

• All race participants will receive a special finisher medal at the finish line.

• Race day registration will include an additional $10 administration fee.

The first 25 race participants that register before September 1st will be guaranteed the chance to buy a short-sleeve race shirt with their paid registration*. After this date, shirts and sizes are not guaranteed.

Runners who decides to run in the virtual race will receive their Bib and Finisher Medal by mail.
