Event Description

The Town Brewing Road Race brought to you by the same good folks who produce Charlotte Racefest, brings back real, in-person, chip-timed races designed to get us ALL  back to racing. Plus, there is a bonus offering of our "virtually Real" 10K that allows you to run own your own and still compete. This is ideal for those who aren't ready for a gathering of any size just yet.

Annnnnd you get a fabulous Town Brewing tasty beer after finishing each race! Running and beer reunited!

Your results will be emailed and/or texted to you immediately if you signed up for those options for the 2-mile and 4-mile races. Your actual race placement will be available online later in the day once all participants have completed the course and we have done all the adjustments and scoring.

The 10K uses the Racejoy app to track runners and submit their time when done. We will review and approve results before they are posted online

Each race will meet or exceed all local, state, and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Currently, no more than 45 runners on-site at any time and at least 6 feet social distancing during any wait times. Runners will have a designated "rolling wave" start window. You will show up, receive your bib, and start within your rolling wave window as soon as you are ready. Once you are done, you will have cold bottled water available and then you will head off for the rest of your day!

Runners are highly recommended to bring their own hydration. We will have bottled water at the finish for 2-mile and 4-mile races, and the 2-mile split for the 4-mile race.
