Event Description

Join us for The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta's 7th annual Race for Rest in partnership with Monday Night Brewing! Yes, there will be beer!

This year, the Race for Rest will take place over 24 days. When you register for the event, you can log miles by either running or walking. Participants can log miles as an individual or with a team. You can log miles on October 1st, but if you register after October 1st, that's ok, too! 

Everyone's miles will be totaled together to help us reach 5,613 miles - the number of people we served in 2019. For every mile logged, our Board of Directors will match it dollar for dollar up to $5,613.

Every participant will receive a t-shirt, voucher for a free beer at MNB Garage, and more fun swag! The event will end with a live stream awards ceremony on October 24th where we will announce our winners. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Men and Women who log the most miles. We will also award the Top 3 Teams who log the most miles and the Top Team with the best mile average!
