Event Description
The Let Freedom Run 5k/10k will kick off your fourth of July with a BANG! There won't be fireworks at this early morning event but we will be celebrating this holiday at the Start/Finish line located at the Louisville Recreation Center.
This event is all about your favorite HEROES. That might be your mom, dad, batman, super girl, Albert Einstein, or the powder puff girls! Unique super heroes are what make this event so special. Wear your favorite hero costume and come out to run for freedom!
Stick around after your run/walk for finisher food, free photos, age group awards, expo shopping, and to cheer on fellow runners at the finish line!
A true Independence Day celebration would not be the same without your loved ones, so make sure to share this event with family and friends as EARLY as possible! Groups of 5 or more get special team pricing!
Community Food Share in Louisville is the partnering non-profit. We continuously encourage the '3W' motto ("Do What you can, When you can, Where you are") to HELP neighbors in our local community. Please bring 5 pantry non-perishables to donate to Community Food Share, and be entered into an exclusive Raffle to win prizes!
