Event Description

William & Mary Athletics announces the inaugural Tribe Virtual 5K and Fun Run presented by Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia. Held in conjunction with William & Mary Homecoming, the event will take place October 14-24.

Registration for the Virtual 5K and Fun Run is open through October 13. There are two options for registration in the form of a participant kit and a digital swag package.  

The Participant Kit Registration is $45 and includes a race t-shirt, Tribe sticker, sunglasses, race bib, and print-at-home finisher's certificate. Please register by Sunday, September 27, to ensure you will receive your race package by Wednesday, October 14. The Digital Swag Registration is available for $15 and includes a print-at-home racer's bib and finisher's certificate only. All proceeds of the event go directly to student-athlete scholarships. Kids (12 and under) can register for the Fun Run with the digital swag at no cost.

A virtual run can be completed at any location and any time during the open event dates. A race can be done inside one’s home on the treadmill or outside practicing safe social distancing by walking, jogging, running, biking, or even swimming or rollerblading the distance on your own route. The virtual race is just 3.1 miles and is a family-friendly event. Children 12 years and under can participate in the 1-mile fun run for free.
