Event Description

The MAC Dash sprint triathlon is held the first Saturday after Labor Day at the beautiful Madras Aquatic Center (MAC). This volunteer-organized, community event benefits MAC youth programming.

The Mini MAC Dash, a free event for children under 10 years old, happens later the same morning.

Madras, located in the scenic high desert of Central Oregon, is host to this fun, fast paced triathlon. On each leg of the MAC Dash, racers enjoy views of nine snow-peaked mountains and the surrounding area. September is a wonderful time of year in Madras, with plenty of sunshine and moderate late summer temperatures.
