BECLABITO MTB RACE

Yá'át'ééh riders! Welcome to the inaugural Beclabito Bike Race!
REGISTRATION – Online registration for both the race or non-competitive tour is now open for. The adult registration fee of $40 includes a performance t-shirt, finisher’s medals, post-race snack, decal and plaque awards for top-finishers. All proceeds benefit the Dine’ Bike Project. You are welcome to race the course any of three days in which the race window is open: Thursday-Saturday, October 15-17. The course will be well-marked and there will be a designated Start and Finish Line feather flag near the trailhead at the church. You may ride any time during the daylight hours of those three days. This is a self-supported race and you are responsible for timing yourself and submitting that time to Josh at email@example.com.
TDR, for Local / Native racers, $30 entry fee.
TDRYOUTH, for Youth racers, 18 & under, $10 entry fee.
ROUTES – The route will be finalized before race week but will be mostly singletrack course, running 15-20 total miles, all part of the new Beclabito Community Trail System, The views are stunning and will include vistas of Shiprock Pinnacle, Carrizo Mountains, Beclabito spring and Dibe’nitsa. The START/FINISH AREA for the race will be Beclabito Baptist Church, which is just off hwy 64, about two miles east of the chapter house and Sinclair store. We will have a Dine’ Bike Project feather flag at the turn-off.
WEATHER – At an elevation of 5570 feet, October in Beclabito is typically mild, with the possibility of moisture and cool-cold temps, particularly in mornings and evenings. Expect the best, but be prepared for the rest.

Trailheads are located at Beclabito Baptist Church, Sinclair Store,
west side of NHA housing and Beclabito Day School.
