Event Description

Participants run/walk a 5k (3.1 mile) course at Stonetree Golf Course or participate virtually using a course of their choice then self-report their time.
Register by October 2nd to guarantee a shirt and goodies; thereafter based on availability, NO GUARANTEE ON T-SHIRTS. Race after party celebration will be at Brick & Forge Restaurant Killeen at your own leisure. Each race participant will receive a coupon for one pint glass and one Oktoberfest beverage (must show coupon).  

We encourage you to pick up race packets on 10/9/20 to help with social distancing. Packet pick up is available on Fri Oct 9th from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Brick & Forge Killeen Restaurant, 2901 E. Central Texas Expy, Killeen, TX 76543.

All virtual participants will not be eligible for the awards. 

Awards given to the overall M/F and to the top 2 M/F per age group of the per age group.
Age groups: 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Price: $25.00 Race Fee (Race fees are non-refundable).

Due to COVID there will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS! 

Race Day times:
Walkers will start at 7:15 a.m.
Runners will begin at 7:30 a.m. 

Due to COVID: Participants will not be able to congregate around the starting line. The race coordinator will shuttle runners into small groups or individuals at a time. 
Runners/Walkers: For your safety & courtesy for the golf course you must be off the course by 9:00 a.m.

Snacks will be provided at the race finish line area. Again, please use social distancing guidelines. 

Participants will receive a text message with your race results & ranking.
Awards are optional after the race, we encourage using social distancing if you choose to wait for the final results. You can also elect to pick up your award (if you win) at the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce after 10/12/20.
