Event Description

The race is a quarter-mile lake swim, a 12.4-mile bike and a 3.4-mile run. The course begins in Soldiers Memorial Park at the Stone Lake Beach House and winds through scenic La Porte County.

Early Registration (On or before May 19th)  - $65 

Late Registration ( May 20th – June 4th)  - $75

RACE COURSE 

1/4 mile swim 

Swimmers will be assigned a wave on race day. Swim cap color will determine the wave in which you’re designated to start The swim is held in Stone Lake. A 1/4 mile swim on a modified triangle course will get you started. No non-swimmers PLEASE! 

12.4 mile bike 

Bike helmets are mandatory; you cannot participate without one. 12.4 miles of curves, flats, hills and scenic country and lakeside roads will challenge your legs and please your eyes. 

3.4 mile run 

Your race will conclude with a 3.4 mile run through Soldiers Memorial Park. There are many lake views and a few small hills. A cold beverage and snacks await you at the finish line.

Each wave will begin in 5-minute increments. 

Wave 1 – Males 18 – 34 

Wave 2 – Males 35 – 49 

Wave 3 – Males 50+ 

Wave 4 – Females 18-34 

Wave 5 – Females 35+ 

Wave 6 – All Teams & Participants Under Age 17 

*Age is determined by the age of the participant by December 31st 

AWARDS 

Awards ceremony will begin after last finisher, or no later than 10:15AM outside Cummings Lodge. Individual awards for the overall male and female finishers and overall Masters (over age 40) male and female finishers.
