Event Description
Isolation experienced during COVID has proven difficult for young people, even more so for youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Aligned with the national nonprofit Erin’s Hope for Friends, we provide e’s Club to give ASD youth the opportunity to connect, form lasting friendships, and celebrate differences.
In May 2020, we launched a safe, virtual space for Kentucky youth to connect with their peers. Virtual e’s Club provides weekly meet-ups offering a range of activities including crafts, game night, movie watch-parties, and more. Beyond Virtual e’s Club, we continue to move forward to establish a dedicated physical space for youth to meet-up once social distancing guidelines are lifted. TOGETHER we are making e’s Club a reality for youth in Kentucky with ASD.
