Hello Runners and Walkers,
My name is Jaime McKinney, and I am the CEO/Founder of Press on Ministries. Press On Ministries was established in August of 2020, during one of my doctoral courses at Regent University. I am a third-year graduate student at Regent University. I am currently working on my Final Project to finally earn the title "Doctor" it has been a long journey, but it well worth the sacrifice. As part of my Final Project, I have created a 5K Virtual Race/Walk to help raise money for the Homestead Ranch located in Southeastern Virginia and Operation Underground Railroad.
The Homestead Ranch takes in girls who have been victims of Sex Trafficking by providing shelter, food, counseling, mentoring, education, job skills, and independent living skills. Hence, they have to become productive and independent members of society. The Homestead Ranch has been in place for almost six years, and they tangibly love Jesus by offering girls who have been victims of sex trafficking a second chance at life.
Part of my Final Project is spreading awareness to those impacted by physical or sexual abuse or both and teaching others how God can heal all wounds. Press On Ministries is about understanding who you are in Christ, learning to overcome and heal, but being able to share your story so you can be someone else's victory.
The Homestead Ranch is a NON-Profit Organization and is helping to change the lives of many girls who have been victims of Sex Trafficking, and it would be an honor to help their organization, as I live in Virginia.
Operation Underground Railroad, in the past six years, has rescued 4,100 victims and assisted in the arrests of more than 2,300 traffickers around the world. With the donations from around the globe, Operation Underground Railroad has been able to help rescue the lives of more than 10,000 survivors who were enslaved, exploited, or at risk. Press On Ministries has put together a 5K Virtual Race as a Fundraiser to help spread awareness and to be part of the solution, not the problem of what is occurring in our culture today. It is time we, as Christian leaders, stand up for what we believe, be the hands and feet of Jesus, and be the voice for those who cannot speak.
I encourage you to get a group of people together to run, walk, crawl, hop, bike, whatever it takes and be the voice for those who cannot speak.

This 5K Race is VIRTUAL and can be completed anytime between October 1, 2020- February 1, 2021.
