Come be a SUPERHERO!
Join us for the 13th Anniversary of the CASA Superhero 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, February 20th @ Academy Sports in Cumming GA.
We'll have a staggered start for social distancing & chip timing so your time starts when you cross over the start line.
Chip Timing, Awesome Tech Shirt, Photo Ops with Superheroes, Awards to the top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Overall Masters M/F, Overall Grand Master M/F, Overall Senior Grand Master M/F, and the top 3 in all the usual Age Groups, plus a few more.

CASA of Forsyth County believes all children need a Hero, but the foster children we serve need Superheroes! Come join us for the CASA Superhero 5k and/or Superhero Fun Run and be a foster child’s Superhero!

1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Come pick up your shirt and bib before the race! You can sleep in an extra 30 minutes!
Day of race packet pickup: Check in opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, February 20th, but remember race start time is 8:30 a.m. sharp!
Can't make it out to the event site on race day?
Still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? or maybe you saw the shirt and said: "Sweet...I want one!" Then the virtual race is for you.

Step 1
Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up and register for the CASA Superhero 5K Virtual!
Step 2
Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3
Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!
Step 4
HAVE FUN!~
Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the hashtag #CASASuperhero5K
Step 5
Submit your results online at: CASA Superhero 5K Time Input
You can submit your race time anytime anytime until 2/20/2021 11:59 PM.
Step 6
View your Results Monday after the Event Date.
All 5K participants registered on or by February 14th are guaranteed a race shirt: Awesome short sleeve tech race tee to remember your run!

We start and finish in the same spot, right next to Academy Sports, with an out & back USATF Certified course that is spectator friendly. Click here for a link to the route.
We'll have a staggered start for social distancing. We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to have a great net time.

Ways to support CASA of Forsyth:
- Come out and participate on race day
- Grab your friends to participate on Race Day
- Participate in the Virtual Run if you can't make it
- Make a donation when you register
- Create your own pledge page when you register and share it on social media
- All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2021 Five Star Turkey Trots.
- Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held in January 2022. The number of spots available is based on the total registration...see event website for details.
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will
be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel
for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
