Who We Are: DVLF is the leading funder of emerging needs in the Greater Philadelphia LGBTQ+ community. Every year we give out grants to LGBTQ+ serving nonprofit organizations. Since our founding we have given over nearly 1M to fuel the LGBTQ+ movement in our community. But every year we receive more proposals than we can fund. By our 30th anniversary, our vision is to fully fund every qualified proposal received from Greater Philadelphia LGBTQ+ serving organizations

Our Programs: DVLF actively secures our community’s future by promoting planned giving and building a permanent fund dedicated to meeting the needs, securing the rights, and celebrating the lives of LGBTQ+ people—forever. DVLF fuels the LGBTQ+ movement by mobilizing people to increase giving, educate donors, and combine individual donations so that all gifts benefit multiple organizations and thousands of lives. We also advocate for important LGBTQ+ causes with mainstream foundations and corporate funders who rely on our 25 years of expertise bringing much needed support to LGBTQ+ nonprofits.DVLF supports critical organizations that help thousands of people each day. We’re often the first to provide grants to emerging nonprofits and a core funder for anchor organizations that advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, serve LGBTQ+ youth and elders, ensure community health, and promote arts and culture.

Join us this year for our COVID-friendly 5K race to raise funds for the LGBTQ+ movement! 

What is the 5K? It is a virtual walk, run, or bike 5K that you, your friends, and family can participate in together!

When is the 5K? The 5K begins on Sunday November 22nd and is open through Tuesday December 1st...run the race at any time and help us raise funds!
