Event Description

Thanksgiving is a time to gather together with friends and family and express gratitude for all we have been given, including the gift of each other. SMARD families celebrate our gratitude for each other daily as the future is never promised. Doctors use words like life expectancy, quality of life, ventilator, wheelchair, feeding tube, etc. We have too many SMARD angels we wish we could hold in our arms just one more time. No option is not an option anymore. We need to change the outcome of this disease.

This Thanksgiving, run, walk, or roll for the ones you are thankful for, for the ones who may never be able to walk themselves, and for those who only have the chance to walk because you are helping to make a difference. Muhammad Ali said "Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” Help us turn impossible into probable.
