Event Description

Please join Second Sole Racing for the 6th annual "What We’re Thankful 4-Miler" taking place on Thanksgiving morning at the Davis Family YMCA in Boardman.  Participants must choose their starting time between 8:30am and 8:45am.  Heat sizes are limited to 100 participants and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Masks are required until the race begins. 

The 4-Mile begins and finishes at the Davis Family YMCA and takes participants on quiet, traffic controlled neighborhood streets.

Due to the current restrictions surrounding Covid-19, we will not have an awards ceremony as we have done in previous years. 

Online registration for the event will close on Sunday, November 22nd at midnight and there will be NO RACE DAY signups.  

Participants may pick up their packets on Wednesday, November 23rd at Second Sole in Boardman from 11am-5pm or race morning at the Davis Family YMCA beginning at 7:30am.

Your registration includes a custom tassel hat and bib number.  Hats are only guaranteed to the first 400 registered participants.  Optional participant hoodies are also available.  

The top three male and female overall winners will receive pies.  Participants must be registered in the first heat (8:30am) to qualify for winning a pie.

Due to safety guidelines required by the state and local health departments, the 3K and kids fun run will not take place this year.  

For those participants not comfortable racing in person, we are also offering a virtual 4-Mile option.  You may choose to pick up your packet at Second Sole or we can mail your packet for $10.
