Event Description
The 5th Annual Wild West Cross Country 5k Challenge is a true, off-road, cross country 5k running event. This unique course runs through Bonnie Springs Ranch set in the beautiful Red Rock Conservation Area. The course was designed by Bruce Balch--a US Duathlon Champion, and an accomplished and decorated triathlete diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The 5k is a fun course and is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Included in this event is a 1/4 Mile Dash for the kiddos, and a 1 Mile Fun Run for all ages. As an added bonus, all participants will receive a free entrance into Bonnie Springs Ranch ($15.00 value), and one raffle ticket to enter and possibly win one of many prizes at the end of the event. This is a family event! All proceeds will support Nevada Diabetes Association's Camp Vegas!!!

7:30 AM - 1/4 MILE DASH (AGES 2- 6) incl. train ride to start line
8:00 AM - 5K (Timed Event)
8:00 AM - 1 MILE FUN RUN

Participate as an individual or create a team. All teams with 3 or more participants receive a 20% discount off registration. Each registered participant will receive a finisher medal, a t-shirt, a complimentary ticket to enter the Bonnie Sprints Petting Zoo, and 1 raffle ticket for the raffle after the Awards Ceremony (must be present to win).
