Event Description

This is a virtual 5k put on by the Parks and Recreation Departments of Alton, Ossipee, Rochester, Wakefield, and  Wolfeboro. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world it left Parks and Recreation Departments scrambling for ideas to keep their communities engaged. That's when some lakes region communities got together to form Our Town's Recreation. With Thanksgiving around the corner and many of our communities Turkey Trots being canceled we decided we wanted to put on a virtual 5k. All of the proceeds for this event will be donated to charity. The three charities we will be donating to are :
