Event Description
Come out and help Santa and his elves raise money for CASA of SW Oklahoma! The 5K course features a closed loop course with 3 laps over slightly rolling terrain. This course is a favorite for locals with lots of door prizes! Awards presented to the top 3 finishers male and female in standard age catagories, along with overall male and female winners in both military and student divisions. Late registration and packet pickup will begin at 1:30 and the race will start at 3:00pm.
Event details and schedule
Late registration will begin at 1:30 and end promptly at 2:30. The weather in Southwest Oklahoma is unpredictable so be prepared for cold temperatures. The race director reserves the right to cancel the race on race day due to bad weather or unsafe conditions. Early registration ends on December 4th, 2020. Registration fee after December 4th, 2020 increases to $30.00 after that date and registrations received after December 6th will not receive a t-shirt.
SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR 2020 EVENT
1. Masks will be required for all participants and volunteers at packet pick up/registration on race day.
2. All volunteers on race day will be required to wear a mask during our event. Spectators are strongly recommended to wear a mask.
3. All registered race participants will be required to wear a mask at the start line. Your mask may be removed once the race has started (if you do not have a mask, we will provide a disposable one to you with your packet).
4. It is strongly recommended that participants practice social distancing of six feet at the start of the race.
5. Food available following the race will be individually wrapped.
6. Hand sanitizer will be available for all participants and volunteers.
7. Please check your temperature before the race. If you are running a temperature of 99 degrees Fahrenheit or above on race day, you will not be allowed to run.
8. If social restrictions prevent the race from running as scheduled on December 12th, 2020, a virtual race will be conducted as a substitute.
