Event Description

Pathway for Tara - LBD Awareness 5K Walk

Join us as we honor Ms. Tara Thiel and help spread awareness of Lewy Body Dementia

Tara will be remembered by her family and friends with an infectious smile, a generous daughter, sister, aunt, and friend with an extremely kind heart.

Lewy body dementia (LBD) affects every aspect of a person – their mood, the way they think, move, their behavior, and even their sleep.  As family and friends affected by LBD, we are dedicated to increasing the support for LBD families, educational resources to physicians and the general public, and advances in research.

That is why we are hosting an LBD Awareness 5K in honor of Tara on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Jim Mayer Riverswalk Trail in Johnstown, PA.  The goal of this event is to raise awareness and funds for the Lewy Body Dementia Association because Tara and her family have been affected by LBD.  *Subject to change with Covid-19 rules and regulations.

Please support our efforts by joining us for the ‘Pathway for Tara’ LBD Awareness 5K. The proceeds from the event are being raised on behalf of LBDA and will go a long way to supporting their programs and services.

If you would like more information about LBDA, I invite you to visit their website at www.lbda.org.
