Solid Rock 10K/5K/1-Mile Fun Run, presented by Sweet Trucking, Co., LLC

Cedar Bluff Baptist church will be hosting the Solid Rock 10K,5K,1-mile fun run on Saturday, March 13, 2021. We will be hosting this event in memory of one of our former church members, Wayne Sweet, who lost his battle with COVID-19 early this year. Wayne was a dear church member and owner of Sweet Trucking Company. Sweet Trucking Company has been our title sponsor for this event since it began 5 years ago. Wayne's son, Gary, will continue to support the race just as his dad did and will be our title sponsor this year. All proceeds from this event will benefit Cedar Bluff Baptist Church building fund. 

Due to the Covid- 19 Pandemic, we are offering a virtual option for the race to run anytime from March 1-March 31, 2021. You can submit your times through the registration page, under the results tab. The In-person race(March 13) will follow safety guidelines, such as wearing mask before and after the race, social distancing, and a rolling start. 

You will sign up for the one 10k or 5k time option (7:45 am). We will manage the start line, creating a rolling start (having the 10k runners start first) to allow social distancing. The 10k/5k awards are based on chip time, so your time is based on when you cross the start line and when you re-cross at the finish line. The awards will be based on times from the overall race. 
**Both the In-person and virtual races will receive a t-shirt.**

Date for In-person race: Saturday, March 13, 2021
Date for Virtual race: Anytime between March 1-March 31, 2021
Time: 10K and 5K will start at 7:45 AM (with rolling start); the 1-Mile Fun Run will begin after the 10K/5K starts. 
Place: Race begins and ends at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church (9215 Floyd Lane Knoxville, TN 37923)
Course:  10k: We have a new 10k course- stay tuned for course details. 5k: You will go through Gulf Park Subdivision, down Sanders Road, up Dutchtown to Webb School. You will turn around at the Webb School entrance and go back down Dutchtown to the church. 1-Mile Fun Run: You will do 1/2 mile down Dutchtown, turn around and come back to the church.

Packet Pick-up (for both In-person and virtual participants): Optional/Early packet pick-up/registration will be at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Race Day packet pick-up/registration (March 13) will be from 6:30 - 7:30 AM. Mask will need to be worn for packet pick-up and we will follow social distancing.

Awards (for in-person participants only): Awards ceremony to be held around 9:00 AM at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church for the 5K and around 9:30 AM for the 10K. Awards to the overall male and female. Awards to the top female/male Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), and age division awards are three deep. Age divisions will be 10 year increments (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. Awards are based on chip time. Team award given to the team with the most participants.
