Event Description

The 3rd annual Rose Bowl Turkey trot is a Pasadena family traditional 5k race historically on Thanksgiving morning around the Rose Bowl Stadium grounds. All entry fees for 2020 will be 100% tax-deductible and will go direct to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation’s America’s Stadium Needs America Campaign. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year the race will be entirely VIRTUAL. The window to participate virtually will be between Wednesday, November 25th and Friday, November 27th. 

So what is a VIRTUAL event?

A virtual run/walk means that all registered participants would run or walk at a place of your own choosing. This could be your neighborhood park or running trail, bike path, quiet neighborhood streets or wherever walking and running is safely permitted. We highly encourage you to complete the route around the Rose Bowl Loop recreational path. It is a 5K loop that surrounds the Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf course.  All participants are encouraged to use the Race Joy app to track their official time and automatically send in their finish time as well as listen to some special messages from Rose Bowl friends during your trot. 

In addition, a downloadable custom race bib will be available as well as a virtual goodie bag for each participant. T-shirts are available for purchase and will be mailed directly to your home.
