Event Description

The Taste of Parkrose 5K/10K Run is the first of many exciting events held during the Taste of Parkrose street fair.

The Taste of Parkrose 5K/10K Run will take runners through the NE Portland neighborhood of Parkrose and Maywood Park, starting and ending at the Taste of Parkrose fair, held this year at Rossi Farms.

The map here on Active.com shows the 5k route (out and back starting/ending at Rossi Farms). The 10k route will include this same route plus add an additional 5k route through the new Gateway Green park.  The Gateway Green Park will be hosting it's Grand Opening this same day and our run will be the first to utilize this brand new park!

Free race photos available a day or two after the race. 

After the run, enjoy the many festivities of the Taste of Parkrose fair, including:

Food Pavilion Big Tent – Delicious food samples and treats from Parkrose vendors

Community Tent – Resources, clubs and information from Parkrose community non profits

Play Area – Carnival games, prizes and craft-making activities for kids of all ages

Music Stage – Singers, Dance and Visual performers on stage

Pre-registration required (no onsite registrations available)

Registration closes at midnight Friday June 23rd.

Run starts at Rossi Farms at 9:00am on Saturday June 24th.

Kids 100 yard dash 9:00am (free, no registration required)

10k 9:10am

5k 9:15am

Runners will sign in prior to the event next to the Start/Finish line starting at 8:30am. We ask that runners please be in line to sign in by 8:50am.
