BRING ON WINTER; WE'RE READY FOR IT!
Our Frosty Feet Winter Mileage Challenge is all about staying motivated, keep moving, and kicking off 2021 on a healthy note.
Run, walk, hike, or treadmill 26.2, 50, 100, 150, 200, or 250 miles between December 19th and February 6th. You've got 50 days to get your miles whether you log 1, 2, or 3 miles/day or do it in larger segments. The challenge officially runs from December 19th through February 6th, but you can start early if you want. You don't have to run/walk/hike/tread your mileage every day of the challenge, but if it helps you stay consistent then go for it. Accumulate the miles any way you see fit.
PICK YOUR CHALLENGE *** ALL ABILITIES WELCOMED 26.2 = 1/2 Mile/Day, 50 = 1 Mile/Day, 100 = 2 Miles/Day, 150 = 3 Miles/Day, 200 = 4 Miles/Day, 250 = 5 Miles/Day
All participants will receive a commemorative super soft lightweight hoodie.
Form a SOCIAL TEAM so that friends or family from near or far can join you on this fun winter challenge. There are many ways to achieve your winter goal. Run, walk, hike, or tread. Upload your activity every week and share your photos on our Frosty Feet Facebook Event page. We'll have a prize for the largest social team.
YOUTH/KIDS SIZES We do have Youth S, M, L and XL hoodies however they may be a slightly different color than the mens/womens (adult) sizes. Make this a family affair challenge.
HOW IT WORKS:
Register for the event.
Log your mileage. This can be done on a printed calendar or through RunSignUp. (Both the printable calendar and online logging instructions coming soon.)
Post photos and stay motivated by liking and following our FB event page.
PACKET PICKUP OR MAILING
We will announce details for a local (Lexington area) drive-thru packet pickup for Saturday, February 5th. You also have the choice to pay an extra $6.00 and have your packet mailed to you if you can't make the local drive-thru pickup.
