Event Description

The Necrotizing Fasciitis Foundation's 5k event will be held at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro Kentucky on Saturday, May 22, 2021. The 5k race will begin at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time followed by an awards ceremony. Our goal is to raise money for the Necrotizing Fasciitis Foundation (NFF).

Our mission is to advocate for Necrotizing Fasciitis (NF) survivors and their families by providing emotional support and resources as we can, to raise awareness of NF by helping to educate the general public and the medical community about NF, and to work toward achieving an earlier diagnosis of this disease to help save lives.

This family-friendly event is open to runners and walkers of all types

1st & 2nd Division Times (male & female): 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. 
***  We will be following the Green River District Health Department guidelines.  ***
